Generate job description

Learn how to generate job description using ChatGPT.

With the October 2024 update you can now use ChatGPT option on the Create Job Posting form to generate 500 word job descriptions by supplying keywords. The OpenAI LLM model that will be used is gpt-4o-mini.

Note - This option is only available to members with roles of either Owners or Admins. Hiring managers and recruiters are typically Admins.


ChatGPT to generate job description

To use the ChatGPT option:

  1. Click on the Use ChatGPT link next to the Description field.
  2. To enable the Generate button specify the role in the Position title field.
  3. Enter keywords in the input box above the Generate button and click on Generate button.
  4. The response from ChatGPT will appear in the Description box below the Generate button.
  5. Review the ChatGPT-generated job description and customize it to suit your needs.
